In our organization, we are passionately and committedly dedicated to providing comprehensive support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to offer complete and continuous assistance to pave the way for their full reintegration into society.

We understand that homelessness can result from a complex interplay of factors, ranging from job loss, mental health issues, addictions, to the lack of adequate housing. Therefore, our approach is broad and versatile, addressing not only the basic needs of our beneficiaries, such as food and shelter, but also their emotional, social, and health needs.

“Day center” Program

We are dedicated to working with people experiencing homelessness, offering them comprehensive support with the aim of facilitating their full reintegration into society.

Our day center is designed to provide care for homeless individuals or those with drug dependency issues in La Línea de la Concepción. We offer a space where these at-risk or socially excluded individuals can spend the day, keeping them engaged and providing personalized attention to address their personal issues.

This resource aims to combat the stigmatization of this group by offering a place to meet their needs for belonging and work on their health, as well as their daily survival.

“Supervised housing” Program

The residential unit program for homeless individuals is an evolution and improvement of the existing residential center since 2012. This new approach is based on the Housing First methodology, adapted to the comprehensive care needs of individuals at severe risk or social exclusion.

The process begins with a request for assistance by the interested person, referred by regional entities, other organizations, or our own network of resources. After a thorough evaluation of their situation, including physical condition, urgency of need, and other relevant factors, those who meet the established criteria are offered the possibility of entering the residential unit: homeless individuals or those in social exclusion, aged 18 to 60, without active drug use or untreated severe mental illnesses.

Once admitted, they are welcomed with assigned accommodation, provided with food, clean clothing, and the opportunity to bathe and rest.

From this point, a comprehensive and personalized intervention is initiated by our team, addressing the various needs of each individual. Educational workshops, job orientation, psychological sessions, and leisure activities are offered, tailored according to emerging needs.

Our highly trained team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to handle emergencies.

“The alliance” Program

Our multidisciplinary team, composed of psychologists and social workers, is dedicated to direct contact on the streets with homeless individuals, establishing crucial trust bonds to overcome their initial reluctance to engage. This specialized team offers constant availability and active listening to respond to immediate needs, emphasizing personal responsibility in every interaction.

We conduct outreach to contact and accompany homeless individuals, many of whom do not access available resources due to ignorance or rejection of established norms. Through these street interventions, we provide comprehensive advice, including health, social, and emotional support.

In terms of general services, we offer:

  • Coverage of basic needs: Food and hygiene items, facilitating the first contact, especially with those most reluctant to interact.
  • Advice and assistance: Guidance and referral to other necessary resources and services, such as NGOs, social services, and mental health centers.
  • Psychoeducation: We promote motivation for change and social reintegration during our encounters.
  • Assistance with paperwork: Help in managing various administrative processes and procedures.

The street work process unfolds in several dynamic and overlapping phases, including detection and initial contact, approach tailored to their pace and needs, forming a trust bond, and continuous support for the development of psychosocial skills and competencies, all while fostering motivation to overcome adverse situations such as addiction.
