Atypical, a place to learn

The first cooking workshop by Atípico by Betania took place on 10 March and was a resounding success – as was to be expected – thanks to the chefs who shared all their secrets: Alberto Sarmiento and Antonio Fernández.

The chefs shared their best rice recipes with the participants and had a great time teaching... and of course they’re already ready for future experiences. We can’t wait to experience them!

We at Betania are delighted to present the menu for our latest Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which we are developing at our headquarters: Atípico, a fine-dining restaurant whose mission is to combine gastronomy with social commitment.


Atípico offers seasonal menus at affordable prices, prepared by a professional team alongside people undergoing training for employment. Every meal served directly contributes to supporting vulnerable people in their journey towards social inclusion.


It is a simple yet meaningful way to get involved, enjoying a quality dining experience whilst helping to create real opportunities for those who need it most.


The menus will be created by chef Alberto Sarmiento, head chef at La Reserva Club in Sotogrande, who has extensive experience having worked in five-star luxury hotels such as the Hotel Arts in Barcelona and the Sheraton Park Tower in London.
